Dr. Corine Boon is a Professor of HRM and People Analytics at the University of Amsterdam Business School and serves as the Director of the Amsterdam People Analytics Centre (APAC). Her work involves collaborative efforts with businesses in the realm of people analytics. Driven by a passion for research, her primary areas of focus include strategic HRM, people analytics, and person-environment fit. She imparts her extensive knowledge through teaching courses in people analytics, leadership, management, and strategic HRM across various MSc and MBA programs.
Corine’s impactful research contributions have been published in renowned journals such as the Journal of Management, Human Relations, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. She also shares her expertise with corporate audiences, addressing topics like strategic HRM, data utilization in organizations, optimizing business outcomes through people analytics, and the impact of technology and AI on HRM.
As an associate editor of Human Resource Management Review and a member of several editorial boards, Corine actively shapes the field. She has also been elected to the leadership track of the HR division of the Academy of Management from 2023-2029. With specializations in strategic HRM, people analytics, and person-environment fit, she continues to be a driving force in HRM research and practice.
