I have over 15 years of experience in HR and bring significant international experience, having worked in country, regional and global roles. I have led teams located across Asia, Europe and Americas. In my current role, my primary focus is on strengthening the talent management function at Aegon to have strong and diverse pipeline of talent for critical roles and enable a culture and talent infrastructure that stimulates talent identification and development at all levels of the organization. I strive to bring clarity and simple solutions to complex challenges.
Prior to joining Aegon, I have worked for 13 years in Signify & Philips where I held roles in talent management and HR Business Partnering. In my earlier role with Signify, a spinoff of the lighting business from Philips, I was the leading global talent management, leadership development and diversity & inclusion agenda. Earlier in my career, I was leading the people agenda for the Healthcare business at Philips India. I like to learn new concepts about future of work, cultural transformations, talent development and people analytics.
I live in Amsterdam and in my free time, I enjoy movies, reading non-fiction books, painting and a good workout.
We know based on strong business case that diverse and inclusive teams ignite diversity of thought, greater innovation and better performance. But numerous companies lag behind to take practical action to foster a workplace culture that genuinely prioritizes inclusivity. In order to successfully unleash the power of DEI in organisations, action needs to be taken on leaders, culture, through the employee life cycle and the value chain, creating equal opportunities in every moment that matters.
